Basic Information: Dakota Wesleyan University is located in Mitchell, South Dakota.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.  

Must Dos: Students must apply to Dakota Wesleyan University initially and to the College of Nursing at the end of their first year of studies.

Nursing Prerequisites:

  • ACT composite score of 19 or above or SAT score of 900 (critical reading plus math).
  • ACT reading subscore of 20 or above or SAT critical reading subscore of 400 or above.
  • High school or college cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 or above.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.7 or better.
