Basic Information: Dakota Wesleyan University is located in Mitchell, South Dakota.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.  Students complete their ADN and then pursue the RN to BSN option through Dakota Wesleyan University.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Dakota Wesleyan University initially and to the College of Nursing at the end of their first year of studies.

Program Length: Two years and two May terms for the ADN, and 14 months for completing the BSN.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must complete a nurse aide course prior to starting the nursing program.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.7 or better.

Admission Tests: Students must complete the ACT with a composite score of 19 or higher and a reading section score of 20 or better.
