Illinois State University RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: Illinois State University is located in Normal, Illinois. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Illinois State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program can be completed in either part-time or full-time status. This is arranged by the student with the College of Nursing. 

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Fundamentals of Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Lifespan Development, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, and Nutrition.  All classes must be completed with at least a grade of C or better. Students must also have completed at least 55 credit hours of general education credits towards their nursing major.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.
