Second Degree BS




 

Basic Information: Indiana State University is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's or master's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BS. Indiana State University does not offer a BSN, but instead offers a BS with a major in nursing. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Indiana State University and to the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services.

Program Length: Fifteen months long running in consecutive sessions meaning Summer, Fall, Spring, and Summer.

Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Nutrition, Psychology, and Developmental Psychology.  Students must achieve a grade of at least a C in all prerequisite courses.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
