Basic Information: Louisiana State University is located in New Orleans, Louisiana.  This program is mainly online, but does meet once per month on Saturday.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the Louisiana State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program can be completed in three semesters. Students can work at a slower pace if they choose to.

Prerequisites: The site says that "prerequisite and supporting courses" include English Composition, Biology with Lab, Chemistry, Sociology, Psychology, College Algebra, Arts, Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Statistics, Humanities, and electives (6 credits).

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
