Montana State University Northern RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: Montana State University Northern is located in Havre, Montana.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  It is required that students have their associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Montana State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Flexible for either part-time or full-time classes.

Prerequisites: In terms of prerequisite classes, the application states "Students in Northern's Baccalaureate Degree Program must meet University requirements in each Distribution Group as well as fulfill General Education Core requirements (Please see College Catalog). In addition, RN-BSN students must have 120 credits to graduate, 39 credits need to be upper division (300 or 400 level).  Registered Nurses who graduated from a diploma program will receive 30 credits of advance standing upon successful completion of 15 upper division-nursing credits and all required general education courses. The diploma graduate must also provide evidence of 2000 hours of nursing experience as a registered nurse." Look at the application for more details.
