Basic Information: Norfolk State University is located in Norfolk, Virginia. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include two units of Mathematics, including one unit of Algebra and one unit of General Mathematics; and two units of Science with lab (restricted to one unit of Biology and one unit of Chemistry at the high school level or higher). Students who did not take Biology and/or Chemistry with a lab in high school must take it as a regular college course. All courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5.
