San Francisco State University RN to BSN
Basic Information: San Francisco State University is located in San Francisco, California. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).
Must Dos: Students must apply to San Francisco State University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: This program take three semesters to complete if studying full time. If students are completing the program part time, it takes five semesters to complete. Both options start in the fall semester.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Written Communication, Oral Communication, Critical Thinking, and Statistics. At least seven of the eight prerequisite courses must be completed when applying. Prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 or better.

The next cohort of RN-BSN students will be accepted for Spring 2017 rather than Fall 2016. Applications will become available beginning August 1, 2016.
