South Dakota State University RN to BSN
Basic Information: South Dakota State University is located in Brookings, South Dakota. All didactic courses are offered online. Clinical courses are offered in the student's geographical area. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Lifespan Development, Public Health Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pharmacology, Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics. General education requirements include English Composition I/II, College Algebra, Fundamentals of Speech, six credits of Humanities courses, and First Semester Seminar. These courses can all be completed during the RN to BSN program. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
