University of Central Arkansas RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Central Arkansas is located in Conway, Arkansas.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Central Arkansas and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program is 30 credit hours long.

Nursing Prerequisites:  Prerequisite courses include College Algebra, Basic Oral Communication*, Basic Statistics*,General Psychology*, Development Psychology or Lifespan Development*, Introduction to College Writing*, Academic Writing*, Anatomy & Physiology with Lab*, Microbiology*, and Physiological Chemistry or College Chemistry with Lab*.  These courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. 

 

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least at 2.5 or higher.  General Education Requirements if not met through associate degree or baccalaureate degree including a Social Science Elective (3 credits), Fine Arts Elective (3 credits), Humanities Elective (3 credits), and US History or Government (3 credits).
