University of Massachusetts RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Massachusetts is located in Boston, Massachusetts.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Massachusetts and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This is an online BSN program.  The length of the program depends on how many general education and required science courses have already been completed.

Nursing Prerequisites: There are no prerequisite courses for entering the program. Courses that must be completed prior to starting the third course in the BSN program include Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Lab, Pharmacology, and Nutrition. Courses that must be completed prior to entering Nursing 362 include Human Growth & Development Across the Lifespan and Statistics.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.75 or above.
