Second Degree Accelerated BSN
Basic Information: The University of Missouri is located in Kansas City, Missouri. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN. There are 24 students admitted to the program each fall.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Missouri and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Five semesters straight through starting in the fall semester.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology, Nutrition, and Human Growth & Development. Students must complete these courses with a grade of a C or better and a cumulative prerequisite GPA of 2.75 or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75.
