University of Nevada Reno RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Nevada Reno is located in Reno, Nevada. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). 

Must Dos: Students must apply to University of Nevada Reno and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Flexible for working students. Contact the College of Nursing to arrange your potential course schedule.

Prerequisites: Courses include College Math, Chemistry with Lab, Organic Chemistry with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Microbiology, Lifespan Human Development, six credits of Communications classes, Nutrition, Technical Foundations for Nursing, and BSE.  Contact the counselor about the BSE class because I couldn't find what BSE stood for.  Students must have a grade of at least a C in all prerequisite classes.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
