University of South Dakota RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of South Dakota is located in Vermillion, South Dakota.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN).

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of South Dakota and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The program length depends on how many supporting courses students have taken prior to entering the program.  Cohorts start in the fall. The fast track option lasts two semesters.  Two of the courses require nursing practicums which will be arranged in your community.

Prerequisites: The application does not state any prerequisite courses. You must have an active RN license in good standing.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.7 or above.  A grade of C or better is required in all prior coursework.
