University of Virginia RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Virginia is located in Charlottesville, Virginia.This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  Students must have either an RN diploma or an associate's degree.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Virginia and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program is designed to be completed part-time in two years.

Nursing Prerequisites: Human anatomy & physiology, lifespan development or developmental psychology, pharmacology, and health assessment are required for admission to the program. Microbiology will be required beginning fall of 2019. 

Prior Classwork Information: Students must complete 48 credits of general education courses prior to enrollment.  Students must have at cumulative GPA of at least a 2.0 or better.
