Basic Information: Azusa Pacific University is located in Azusa, California.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Azusa Pacific University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Average time of completion of the entire nursing program is four years.  For transfer students who have already completed 60 credits or more, look at the "Two-Plus-Two" program found here.  This program is completed in six consecutive semesters.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses for entrance from high school include Chemistry, Biology, and two years Math.  If the student's SAT score is below 480, students must take a writing placement test in English. Prior to entering the nursing program, students must complete Anatomy with Lab and Chemistry with Lab.  If applying for the "Two-Plus-Two" program, students must also complete Organic Chemistry with Lab, Biochemistry, Physiology, and Microbiology with Lab.  All science prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of a C or better.  The average prerequisite science GPA must be at least a 2.7 or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a prior high school or college GPA of at least a 3.0 or better.
