Basic Information: Chicago State University is located in Chicago, Illinois.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Chicago State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Four years total with students taking additional courses for three summer semesters.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition I/II, Psychology, Lifespan Developmental Psychology, Cell Biology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Microbiology, General & Organic Chemistry, any college level Mathematics course, Sociology, Nutrition, Introduction to Health Professions, Critical Thinking, and nine credits Humanities (with six in one foreign language).  Students must complete all prerequisite courses with a grade of C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or better.
