East Tennessee State University BSN




 

Basic Information: East Tennessee State University is located in Johnson City, Tennessee.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements

Must Dos: Students must apply to East Tennessee State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The nursing program is five semesters long after completing prerequisite and general education courses.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must be in progress or have completed all ETSU General Education courses* (or equivalent from a Transfer Institution) including the 4 Nursing Pre-requisite classes:  Anatomy and Physiology I and II (with labs), Intro to Microbiology (with lab), and Probability and Statistics. At least 3 of the 4 pre-requisite math/science classes must be  completed  prior to the application deadline.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.6.
