Basic Information: Idaho State University is located in Twin Falls, Idaho.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Apply to Idaho State University and to the College of Nursing.

Nursing Prerequisites: A list of all prerequisite courses can be found here.  There are two different types of prerequisite courses that must be completed at different times in the admission process.  Students must have at least a 3.0 prerequisite GPA average and a C or better in each prerequisite course.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

There is a $50 non-refundable fee to apply to Idaho State University.  Application information for Idaho State University College of Nursing can be found here.  Applicants must take the Test of Essential Academic Skills V (TEAS V) before 8/30/16. TEAS V scores will be due with the application on 9/15/16. All prospective applicants are required to meet with a School of Nursing advisor no later than 5:00 PM on 9/1/16 to determine eligibility for the Traditional BS Nursing program.  There is also a $50 non-refundable fee to apply to the College of Nursing.  The application checklist for the College of Nursing BSN can be found here

Admission Tests: Students must take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS V). This must be taken between May 15th and September 16th with scores submitted by the September application.
