Basic Information: Illinois State University is located in Normal, Illinois. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Illinois State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Two years long.

Nursing Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Lifespan Development, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Nutrition, and  Medical Terminology.  All classes must be completed with at least a grade of C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.

Application Information: When applying to Illinois State University students should designate that they are a pre-nursing major.  Applications are open starting on September 1st of the year preceding the start of schooling.  The application to the College of Nursing can be found here.  Applications to start the nursing major in Spring or Summer 2017 are being accepted from April 1, 2016 - June 15, 2016.  The application to Illinois State University can be found here
