Basic Information: Illinois State University is located in Normal, Illinois. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to Illinois State University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Two years long.
Nursing Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Chemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Lifespan Development, Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Nutrition, and Medical Terminology. All classes must be completed with at least a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.
Application Information: When applying to Illinois State University students should designate that they are a pre-nursing major. Applications are open starting on September 1st of the year preceding the start of schooling. The application to the College of Nursing can be found here.
