Basic Information: Minnesota State University is located in Mankato, Minnesota. Admission is based on the applicant's pre-nursing GPA and composite score on the Evolve Reach Admission Assessment Examination.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Minnesota State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The nursing program is four semesters long.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses that count towards the pre-nursing GPA include English Composition, Chemistry, Geography, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Statistics, Human Development, and "Courage, Caring, and Team Building."  Other courses that must be completed before admission include Microbiology, Nutrition, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology. Students must complete all prerequisite courses with a grade of at least a C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8.
