Basic Information: Minot State University is located in Minot, North Dakota. The "Admission into the Nursing Major" brochure can be found here. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to Minot State University and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Four years long with students applying for the nursing program during their fourth semester.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Microbiology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Chemistry, Sociology, Psychology, College Composition I OR II, Lifespan Growth & Development, Nursing Perspectives, Public Speaking, Nutrition, and a Cultural course. All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better and a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75 or higher.

Admission Tests: All students must complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam. International students must complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam.
