Basic Information: Missouri State University is located in Springfield, Missouri. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.  Sixty-one students are accepted into the program with approximately 75-140 students applying per year.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Missouri State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Four years.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must complete all General Education courses, except Writing II.  Students must also have no more than one General Education course remaining when the nursing program begins.  Statistics must be taken prior to the spring semester of the senior year of the program.  A list of all courses can be found here.  All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.  Students must have completed at least 43 credit hours prior to applying to the program.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or better.
