Norfolk State University BSN




 

Basic Information: Norfolk State University is located in Norfolk, Virginia.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Norfolk State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Once admitted to the nursing program, students should complete their BSN in 22 months.

Nursing Prerequisites: Completion of one algebra course, and one biology course with a lab.  A minimum grade of “C” is required in each course or credit by examination (CLEP or ACT).

 All courses must be completed with a grade of a C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.8 or better.
