Basic Information: Northern Arizona University is located in Flagstaff, Arizona. This program is meant for students who have completed all general education and prerequisite courses wishing to get their BSN.  This degree can be completed in Flagstaff, Tucson, or Yuma. Northern Arizona University admits 60 BSN students per year.  They have a 30:1 classroom instructor to students ratio and 10:1 clinical instructor to students ratio.  They admit approximately 30% of all qualified students who apply.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Northern Arizona University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Five semesters after completion of prerequisite classes.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Critical Reading and Writing OR College Composition (2 semesters), College Algebra or higher OR Quantitative Reasoning, Unity of Life and Lab OR Fundamental Chemistry with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology I/II with Labs, Microbiology with Lab, Psychology, Introduction to Statistics in Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Applied Nutrition OR Medical Nutrition, and Applied Statistics. These courses must be completed with a 3.0 GPA or better.  There are also 35 credit hours of liberal study courses which must be completed that are found here

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA at least a 3.0 or better.
