Basic Information: Ohio State University is located in Columbus, Ohio.  In Fall 2012 there were 409 applications received and 127 students were offered admission.  The average GPA of those admitted was a 3.7.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Ohio State University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: This program is a total of four years long.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, First-Year English Composition, Psychology, and Sociology.  Courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C+ or better.  Students must also have their Nursing Assistant license prior to entering the program.  A PowerPoint with more information on this topic can be found here

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have completed 30 semester credit hours of college work prior to applying.  The minimum cumulative GPA required for admission is 3.2.
