Basic Information: Oklahoma City University is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Oklahoma City University.  Students do not have to apply to the College of Nursing. Students can start their nursing courses as soon as they have a 3.0 GPA or higher, a 2.5 GPA or higher in prerequisite science courses, English proficiency, and no more than no more than 9 general education credits left.

Program Length: Flexible depending on how quickly you would like to finish. Typically the program takes four years total.  The fastest way to finish is by doing the accelerated program (in 16 months).

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include (number of hours): Human Anatomy with a lab (3-5), Human Physiology (3-5), Microbiology with a lab (3-4), Introduction to Psychology (3), College chemistry course with a lab, preferably introductory, general, or organic chemistry (4-5).

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher and a 2.5 science prerequisite GPA or higher.
