Basic Information: Oregon Health and Science University is located in Portland, Oregon. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.  A list of information sessions can be found here

Must Dos: Students must apply to Oregon Health and Science University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Three years total. Students must complete 45 credit hours of prerequisite courses prior to being admitted to the BSN program.

Nursing Prerequisites: Nursing courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II/III, Nutrition, Microbiology, Genetics, and Statistics.  The average prerequisite GPA was 3.89 in 2012.  Students must have at least a 3.0 prerequisite GPA as well as a grade of C- or better in all prerequisite classes.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

Application Information: There is a $45 non-refundable application fee.  Applications open in September and close in February each year. Admission Tests:  If you are an international student, you must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam.
