Oregon Health & Science University RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: Oregon Health and Science University is located in Portland, Oregon. A list of information sessions can be found here. This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN. Students must have their ADN and an active RN license.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Oregon Health and Science University and the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Oregon Health and Science University says that "students typically take two to three nursing courses a term which takes between 6 to 12 quarters depending on how many non-nursing courses they have left to complete. Full time students can complete the program in 3 to 4 terms." 

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II/III, Nutrition, Human Development, Microbiology with Lab, Genetics, Intermediate Algebra, English Composition I/II, Technical/Scientific Writing, three Humanities credits, and three Social Science credits.

Prior Classwork Information: No prerequisite GPA listed.

Application Information: There is a $45 non-refundable application fee.  You must also participate in an interview as part of your application process.
