Basic Information: Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, Indiana. Students start this nursing program as freshman.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must complete eight semesters of English, six semesters of Social Sciences, eight semesters of Math, six semesters Science (with two in Biology and two in Chemistry), four semesters Foreign Language, four semesters in other high school subjects, and six semesters in other additional English, Language, Math, Sciences, or Social Studies.  Transfer students must complete at least six hours of college-level natural science courses (Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology, etc.) with grades of at least a B or higher.

Prior Classwork Information: No prior classwork information is listed for high school students applying to the program.  Transfer students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5.
