Basic Information: Texas Christian University is located in Fort Worth, Texas.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to Texas Christian University as freshman entry students.  If students apply as transfer students, they must also apply to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Students usually begin nursing core courses starting the second semester of their sophomore year.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Nutrition, Microbiology, Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, Sociology, and Statistics.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher.

Application Information: Freshman may declare nursing as their major upon admission. They must file an "intent to enroll in first practicum courses" by October 1st for spring semester or February 1st for fall semester.  This form can be found here.  Transfer students are accepted based on the availability of staff and facilities for new students.
