University of Arizona BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Arizona is located in Tucson, Arizona.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Arizona and the College of Nursing.  There is an interview as the last step in the admission process.

Program Length: This nursing program is four semesters long and is completed over two years.  The plan of study can be found here.  

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition (two semesters), General Chemistry with Lab (two semesters), General Biology, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology with Lab, Nutrition, Human Development, and Statistics. Students must complete prerequisites with a C or better.  Cumulative GPA for prerequisite classes must be at least 3.0.  Prerequisite course information can be found here

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
