Basic Information: UCLA is located in Los Angeles, California. The information session schedule can be found here. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements. 

Must Dos: Freshman and transfer students must apply to UCLA and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The nursing program is 94 units in total.

Nursing Prerequisites: General education requirements include English Composition, Critical Thinking, Math Concepts/Quantitative Reasoning, Arts, Humanities, one Arts or Humanities elective course, three Social or Behavioral Sciences classes, Physical Science, Biological Science, and Language Proficiency. Other nursing prerequisite classes include Atomic & Molecular Structure (Chemistry 14A), Thermodynamics/Electrochemistry/Kinetics/Organic Chemistry (Chemistry 14B), Structure of Organic Molecules (Chemistry 14C), Cells/Tissues/Organs (Life Sciences 2), Introduction to Molecular Biology (Life Sciences 3), and Anatomy & Physiology (Nursing 3 & 13).

Prior Classwork Information: UCLA's website says that students must complete the program with at least a 2.0 GPA but does not state the minimum prerequisite GPA to get into the program.

Application Information: The deadline for the College of Nursing is January 15, 2014 for the 2014 Fall cohort.
