Second Degree Accelerated BSN




 

Basic Information: This branch of the University of Delaware is located in Newark, Delaware. The course curriculum can be found here. This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to UD and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Seventeen months.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Biology with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Bio-organic Chemistry, Human Development over Lifespan, Nutrition, Psychology, and Statistics. There are also some basic general education requirements that must be met as found in the course curriculum.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must complete all courses with a grade of C- or better. Cumulative GPA must be at least a 3.0 in your previous degree.
