University of Illinois at Chicago RN to BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Illinois at Chicago is located in Chicago, Illinois.  This program is meant for Registered Nurses wanting to obtain their BSN.  The majority of programs require that you have your associate's degree in nursing (ADN). This program is completely online.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Illinois at Chicago and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Students can enroll either full-time or part-time.  Full-time students will complete the program in approximately 16 months.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition I/II, General Chemistry, Organic/Biochemistry, Human Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Nutrition, Life Span Human Growth & Development, Understanding the Individual & Society, Understanding the Past, Understanding the Creative Arts, Exploring World Cultures, and Understanding U.S. Society. Students must have a science GPA of 2.5.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75.
