University of Kentucky BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Kentucky is located in Lexington, Kentucky.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Kentucky and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Eight semesters long with the last five semesters as the nursing program.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Chemistry, Composition & Communication I/II, Psychology, Biology, and UK General Education Requirements. 

Prior Classwork Information: Students must complete prerequisite classes with a a grade of a C or better and have a cumulative science GPA of 2.75 or better.
