University of Mary BSN
Basic Information: The University of Mary is located in Bismarck, North Dakota. The undergraduate nursing handbook can be found here. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Mary and to the College of Nursing. Students must have an active CNA license.
Program Length: The program is completed in four years total. It is recommended that two summer semesters be taken to complete Nutrition and either Pharmacology OR Pathophysiology.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anthropology, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Microbiology, Introduction to Organic & Biochemistry, Statistics, Psychology, Lifespan Psychology, Nutrition, and Introduction to Nursing as a Profession (CNA required for this course). All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or higher.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.75 or higher.
