University of Maryland BSN




 

Basic Information: The University of Maryland is located in Baltimore, Maryland.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Maryland and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The nursing program is 61 credits long and takes four semesters to complete.  There are 59 credit hours of general education and prerequisite courses that must be completed prior to entering the program.

Nursing Prerequisites: A list of all prerequisite courses can be found here under the link labeled "BSN and RN-BSN Prerequisites..."  Students must have a cumulative science GPA of at least a 3.0.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0.

Admission Tests: Students must complete the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) exam.
