Basic Information: The University of Massachusetts is located in Boston, Massachusetts.  The typical applicant has a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and prerequisite GPA of at least 3.5.  There were 300+ application in 2011 and only 35-39  seats available.  This program is for students who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field and have finished the basic requirements for their BSN. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Massachusetts and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The program lasts 15 months starting in the beginning of the summer.

Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Statistics, Growth & Development Across Lifespan, Nutrition, and Social Sciences elective.  The first three of these classes must be completed with a grade of at least a C+ and the remaining classes must be completed with a grade of at least a C.

Prior Classwork Information: There is not a minimum GPA requirement.
