University of Miami BSN
Basic Information: The University of Miami is located in Miami, Florida. Students are admitted to this program as freshman, not when they are juniors. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Miami and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Four years from start to finish.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Anatomy with Lab, Physiology, Biology with Lab, Chemistry with Lab, Microbiology, Psychology, Nutrition, College Algebra, Statistics, and Human Growth & Development. There are other general education requirements that must be met including English, Humanities, and People & Society classes. Those requirements can be found here. Students must have a prerequisite GPA of a 2.75 or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or better.
