University of Minnesota BSN
Basic Information: The BSN program is ran through the University of Minnesota in either Twin Cities or Rochester. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Minnesota and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Six semesters to be completed over three years. A list of the course schedule can be found here.
Prerequisites: Courses include Chemistry, Biology, Freshman Writing, Psychology, Nutrition, Lifespan Development, and Anatomy & Physiology I. At least five of the six prerequisite courses must be complete or in progress at the time of the application submission. Courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C-.The average cumulative and prerequisite GPA of students admitted to the program is 3.60.
Prior Classwork Information: Cumulative GPA must be at least a 2.8 for all prior classwork.

Admission Tests: International students must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Students applying with less than 26 college credits must submit either ACT or SAT scores.
