Basic Information: The University of Nebraska is located in Omaha, Nebraska. This program only starts once a year in August. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Nebraska and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Four semesters over two years.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition I/II, Psychology, Sociology, Human Growth & Development, Chemistry, College Algebra, Statistics, Anatomy & Physiology I/II, Ethics, Microbiology, Nutrition, Humanities, Culture OR Race OR Ethnicity Or Gender, Family OR Human Behavior, and Political Science OR Social Organization. Students must complete these courses with a grade of at least a C or better. Prerequisite courses are not offered by University of Nebraska Medical Center. They can be taken through University of Nebraska.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5 or better.
