Basic Information: The University of Texas is located in Austin, Texas.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must be admitted to UT Austin prior to applying to the College of Nursing.  The website also said that "15 credit hours of the prerequisite courses must be taken in residence at UT Austin.  These courses will NOT transfer in from another institution."

Program Length:  Four years. 

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include biology, chemistry, and statistics. Students must complete all prerequisite course with a 2.75 GPA or higher.  The BSN plan of study can be found here

Prior Classwork Information: Students must complete all coursework in sciences, prerequisite courses, and all UT-Austin in-residence coursework with a 2.75 GPA or higher.
