University of Texas at Houston BSN




 

Basic Information: This branch of the University of Texas is located in Houston, Texas.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Texas and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: The traditional program is four semesters for a total of 15 months of courses.

Nursing Prerequisites: Students must have a science prerequisite GPA of a 3.0 or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.75 or better.

Application Information: Students must submit the nursing application by January 15th for fall admission, August 15th for spring admission, or December 1st for summer admission.  The application information for the University of Texas can be found here
