University of Washington BSN


Basic Information: The University of Washington is located in Seattle, Washington.  There are information sessions online that can be found here.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Washington and to the College of Nursing. Students must complete a minimum of 100 hours of volunteer or paid health care experience in one setting within a period of three months (completed within the prior year).

Program Length: Two years total.

Prerequisites: There are a total of 90 credit hours of prerequisite courses to the nursing program. These can be found on this worksheet.  The cumulative prerequisite GPA must be greater than 2.0.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA.
