University of Wyoming BSN
Basic Information: The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie, Wyoming. Forty-eight students are accepted each fall semester for the BSN program. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Wyoming and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Two years of pre-nursing courses (including general education requirements) and two years of nursing core classes.
Nursing Prerequisites: There are 46 credits of nursing prerequisite courses. A list of those and all other nursing coursework can be found here. All courses must be completed with a grade of C or better.
Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.
Application Information: Application deadline for the College of Nursing is February 1st. The application to the University of Wyoming can be found here.
Admission Tests: Students must complete the ACT or SAT during high school. If you are an international student you must complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam.
