University of Wyoming BSN
Basic Information: The University of Wyoming is located in Laramie, Wyoming. Forty-eight students are accepted each fall semester for the BSN program. This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.
Must Dos: Students must apply to the University of Wyoming and to the College of Nursing.
Program Length: Two years of pre-nursing courses (including general education requirements) and two years of nursing core classes.
Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include College English Composition, College Algebra, Statistics, General Biology, Introductory Chemistry, Phsyiology, Pathophysiology, Anatomy with Lab, Developmental Influences on Health, Medical Microbiology, Psychology, Anthropology, and Nutrition. Students must complete all prerequisites with a grade of at least a C or better. The only exception is Introductory Chemistry which must be completed with at least a B or better. Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.

Admission Tests: Students must complete the ACT or SAT during high school. If you are an international student you must complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam.
