Basic Information: West Virginia University is located in Morgantown, West Virginia.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Must Dos: Students must apply to West Virginia University and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Four years in total. Students start the nursing program in the third year of their degree.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include English Composition, Psychology, Introduction to Nursing, College Algebra, Chemistry with Lab, Biology with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology, and Sociology OR Anthropology.  They also said that "statistics is in the freshman progression plan but is not a prerequisite for admission to sophomore year." Courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: For students with any college courses completed, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
