Basic Information: Wichita State is located in Wichita, Kansas.  This program is set up for the entry-level freshman wishing to gain their BSN or transfer students who have completed their general education requirements. 

Must Dos: Students must apply to Wichita State and to the College of Nursing.

Program Length: Two years of nursing classes for a total of four years for the entire degree.

Nursing Prerequisites: Courses include Chemistry with Lab, Anatomy & Physiology with Lab, Microbiology with Lab, Pathophysiology, and Pharmacology.  Prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of at least a C or better.

Prior Classwork Information: Students must have at least a 2.75 cumulative GPA.

Application Information: Application deadlines are February 1st for fall entry and September 1st for spring entry. The application to Wichita State University can be found here

Admission Tests: Students must take the Test of Academic Skills (TEAS) exam.  Minimum scores are a 69% in Reading, 63% in Math, 45% in Science, and 60% in English.
